After playing high-level rugby for many years, he has cultivated some common values ​​with osteopathy such as adaptation, concentration, respect and good perception of the human body.

At the entrepreneurial level, Clément had the opportunity to open his own practice in France, which allowed him to take care of many patients and consequently to treat and relieve various types of pain. Mathieu Girard is a health professional who uses his hands and knowledge to determine the root of the symptoms. His goal is to solve the problem in an effective and durable way using the different techniques of physiotherapy and osteopathy.

After graduating from the Cégep de Chicoutimi Physical Rehabilitation Therapist program in 1995, Mathieu developed a keen interest in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. A few years later, he improved his approach by obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa.

In 2004, he joined the team of the Hull Center for Manual and Osteopathic Therapies. He became co-owner of the clinic the following year.

In 2011, Mathieu bought the clinic and moved it to a beautiful building on St-Raymond Boulevard in Gatineau. Now known as the Centre TMO (Manual and Osteopathic Therapies), the clinic now offers massage therapy services, in addition to physiotherapy and osteopathy.

On a perpetual quest for improvement, Mathieu studied osteopathy at the Osteopathic Center of Quebec in Montreal, where he obtained his osteopath diploma after following 6 years of training.

Over the years, Mathieu Girard has taken several post-graduate courses in advanced manual therapies, neuro-proprioceptive tapping, running injuries, positional vertigo, shoulder injuries, and much more.

Passionate about sports, in 2007, Anik Laflamme finished a degree in kinesiology specialized in sports supervision from the University of Sherbrooke. Her main interest is the treatment of sports injuries which led her to pursue training as an orthotherapy technician at the Academy of Massage and Orthotherapy in 2008.

Anik completed her master’s degree in physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa in 2010. A member in good standing of the Professional Order of Physiotherapy of Quebec, she subsequently completed a continuing education course, the A-Lumbar Spine Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy from McKenzie Institute. She also trained as NCCP Youth Soccer Coach in 2004 and 2006, which allowed her to coach soccer teams.

Since 2010, Anik Laflamme has been part of the Centre TMO team. The Nautilus Plus Fitness Center in Hull also benefits from her kinesiology skills as she works there as a Level 2 personal trainer.

The health and well-being of people has always been a passion for Carolina. In 2004, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy in Colombia, her country of origin. Subsequently, she did a master’s degree in occupational health and safety (2007).

In 2015, Carolina completed her equivalency studies in the Professional Qualification in Physiotherapy (QPP) program at the University of Montreal, which was specifically developed for university-level professionals trained in physiotherapy outside of Canada. She therefore becomes a member in good standing of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec.

First interested in the field of health and curious about manual therapy Laurie obtains, in 2016, her bachelor’s degree in Osteopathy (B.Sc.) from the full-time program of the Canadian College of Osteopathy of Montreal.

Due to her very complete academic training, little by little, her clientele diversifies. Her knowledge, curiosity and versatility now allow her to adapt to a wide range of clients: babies, child, adults, athletes, pregnant woman, etc.

François Ménard obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Sherbrooke in 2012. In order to deepen his knowledge and skills in manual therapies, he continued his path to the postgraduate diploma of specialized studies (DESS) in therapeutic exercises. Graduating with honors, he became a massage therapist, orthotherapist and physiotherapist.

Always in search of improvement, he is currently pursuing further studies in osteopathy at the prestigious College of Osteopathic Studies (CEO) of Montreal, where he is on his way to graduating.

Mathilde has the necessary qualities to offer a massage that is both conforting and energizing. She hopes to apply to her cummulative learnings  to benefit her client’s needs.

Mathilde has been practicing massage therapy since 2010 and she is a member of the Network of Professional Massage Therapists of Quebec (RMPQ). She was first trained in Swedish massage at Guijek, the Quebec Institute for Integral Health, in Montreal. This professional training focusing on a holistic approach, allowed her to master massage techniques in accordance with the highest standards recognized in the profession. Passionate about body and mind harmonization, Mathilde also showed interest in energy massages.

Her desire to learn different efficient massage techniques brought her to Thailand, where she attended Thai massage classes which you will be able to appreciate through her expertise in restoring flexibility and mobility to your body. She recently completed a second professional training with Giujek, in shiatsu massage therapy, which is in the realm of oriental massage, where the energy channels of the body are stimulated by stretching and applying acupressure on specific points.

Mathilde has always felt the need to express her passion for human beings and health while keeping in mind the fine balance between knowledge and know-how. She pursued a university degree in health sociology, in parallel with her practice and her training in massage therapy.

The well-being I bring to others, with the simple yet powerful tools like touch and massage, brings me a wonderful sense of accomplishment!
